The GARP Risk Academy offers a Country Specific Program. Under this program the Risk Academy works with organizations in individual countries to develop tailored training and specifically designed programs by building on the International Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulation.
The first of these programs, the Indonesia Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulation, was developed in conjunction with Bank Indonesia and BSMR (Badan Sertifikasi Manajemen Risiko). The Indonesia Certificate has been designed to allow candidates to develop their knowledge and understanding of banking risk and regulation. It describes the regulations that apply to risk management and supervision issued by Bank Indonesia, as well as the regulatory framework set out by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. It was introduced in 2005 and has approximately 50,000 candidates registered.
The GARP Risk Academy is in the process of developing additional certification programs across a number of disciplines in several different countries.
